WHAT DOES THEIR DAY LOOK LIKE?
An accomodation support worker is tasked to support those who need care and support to help them live independently, find housing and thus gain independence. Daily activities include talking to clients to gain an understanding of their needs, liaising with relevant organisations to assist in securing accommodation, and related administration work. Accomodation support officers may work for non-profit or government organisations. community housing providers or disability advocacy organisations.
